What sweet cupids these are offering their bows and blowing kisses and generally spreading love! We have several styles - some are illustrated above - but not too many of any one of the cupids. They look wonderful when together. Each little cupid features metallic silver hand-painted accents. But, oddly enough, not one of them has wings.
These are from the mid 20th century, or perhaps a tad earlier. They are made of hard plastic and vary in color from white to cream to tan as illustrated in the picture. Some of them are in better shape than the others, but we've found that the slight disrepair adds to the shabby chic look of these.
We think that they were originally cupcake or cake toppers, but we cannot be sure.
All the styles are about the same height, measuring in at 2 inches high by 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inch wide and about 1 inch from front to back.
