DESCRIPTION

Vintage motifs like these were used to decorate candles, papier mâché eggs and ornaments and even crèches and the like. These are still on the original aged waxed paper and are in superb shape.

There may be a small amount of breakage, but because they are wax, they are easily positioned back in place. There are 14 rows of 6 curves with four accented embellishments per sheet.

You can use the row of 6 all together, or separate them into 84 separate motifs.

We can envision all types of uses for these, but most of all, we love them because they are so old, hailing from pre-World War II Germany. Each piece measures approximately 9-3/4 inches long by 3-1/2 inches high and may be trimmed for use. The 84 individual motifs measure 1-5/8 inches long by 1/4 inch high each.

Please be careful with these as they are extremely delicate, but still very usable!
