Dennison cotton covered wire like this is so rare to find!

And, look! We were lucky to come upon some original wooden 10 yard spools of green cotton wrapped wire!

The original wooden spool is stamped on top with the Dennison Logo as well as the company's location - Framingham, Mass. U.S.A. On the the other side - Dennsion Cotton Covered Wire 10 yds.

The wire is held neatly in place by a tack in the wood. Great to re-attach the wire to the spool if not used all at once.

The green wire is just what is needed to use in special old-fashioned projects. We suspect that the wire was often used in making Dennison crepe paper flowers and such.

This wire is just wonderful. It is in terrific condition - especially for its age.

Dennison, an original American paper company, still is well known as a maker of fine, quality products. And, this is no exception.
