Most of our vintage French francs hail from the 1920s and feature on one side the Roman god Mercury. In ancient mythology, Mercury was a messenger and the god of trade, profit and commerce.
Each coin measures 23 mm in diameter and is made of aluminum and bronze. These are no longer in circulation, being replaced by the new European Union Euro coins.
Each is different as it has traveled through different hands to get to us and then to you, so, please let us choose one for you.
