Huckleberry Hound was a favorite of ours in the 1950s. Created by Hanna-Barbera, Huckleberry spoke with a southern drawl and was always quite laid back. One wonders if Blue of Blue's Clues was modeled a bit after the older blue dog gentleman!
Our little golden pin hails from the 1950s and was meant for sale in 5 and 10 cent stores such as Murphy's, Ben Franklin and Woolworths. This particular pin is quite collectible and we've seen it for a much, much higher price all over the internet!
Each one measures about 1 inch high by 5/8 inch wide. Each is marked Hong Kong on the pin.
We love them for embellishment and just for the memories!
We're showing 2 pins so that you might see the front and the back.
Not for children.
