We can't really call it a trend, because designers have been doing it for years - adapting vintage jewelry into newer items - but now there is a new name for it: upcycling! These vintage glass tipped pins were made in Japan, well known for quality costume jewelry components. But we love the older ones even more. The green glass bead tip measures 8mm in diameter. The actual metal pin is a dark aged metal, measuring about 3/4 inch long.
