Vintage Hand Painted Wooden Bowl

Little hand painted kitchen items like this sweet little wooden bowl were quite popular in the 1950s. It appears to be a salad bowl. It might be just what you need for your ofrenda, your doll house or memory box.

The opening measures 1-3/4 inch in diameter and 7/8 inch high. There is a varnish or preservative that make the bowl shine. Each is hand painted  with the image of a flower in red, pink, white and green after the varnish. No two flowers are the same, but the pictured bowls are examples of what you might receive. Our bowl hails from the 1950s. We were lucky enough to find them in an estate.
