Wowee! Here's a sealed (never opened) paper envelope from the 1950s. Inside is a neato red imitation rubber worm. This was found in an old warehouse - new old stock - never used. The brick red worm inside looks like s/he is already slithering, just as our photo shows.
On the front of the package it reads:
A Wonderful Fun Maker
wherever it is Placed.
Ah! That we might be entertained to day by the simpler joys of so many yesterdays ago.
The package is also marked, "MADE IN JAPAN." In the lower left corner, what must be the company's logo, it reads "G.M" within a diamond.
