Usually seen as a pair, Heckle and Jeckle the crows, sometimes went off on their own. We're not sure who this is, so you can call him Heckle or Jeckle, or change as your whim might have you. Really, the only distinction between the two is that one was British and the other a New Yorker, and their voices easily make you aware of this. Technically they are magpies, but just about everyone remembers them as crows.
Signed and Licensed, this little button pin is registered in the UK (on the back). It is copyrighted Terrytoons by Paul Terry - from his own studio and then released through 20th Century Fox soon after World War II.
The metal cabochon is in a pronged setting. You can probably remove the cabochon from the setting if you wish, but be sure to be careful not to break the prongs in case you change your mind and want to put the pin back together. The back has a rvited (not glued). You'll find that the older novelties were made much better than they are today. The pin measures 1 inch in diameter.
The pin is in vintage condition with a few chips as you can see in the photos. We love it just this way.
