Vintage Light Cardstock Paper Bobeche (Candle Wax Catcher)

These heavy paper bobeches (wax catchers) were created for devotional candles that were used in church services and vigils. Although these are still made today, they are now printed in China. Our vintage ones were made in the USA.

Our photographs represent both an example of a timeworn bobeche (some show signs of tell-tale wax, others are barely used) and another in unused condition. They are all old stock, so some aging is visible in both conditions. You can mix and match the used and unused ones to take advantage of the quantity discount. The wax catchers measure 4 inches square and have been split in a perpendicular fashion to hold the candle tightly.
