Vintage Metallic Passementerie Evil Eye Applique

These gorgeous vintage appliqués were originally sewn to saris for extra embellishment and good fortune. The image is a double evil eye, created from sequins, silver and gold bullion and glass beads.

Each of these has been hand sewn to a backing for stability. These may be sewn or glued to your project. Or, you might choose to take one apart for the vintage components. These are quite old and are in good to very good condition. The workmanship is stunning considering that these have lasted for decades - and have been removed from their original place to be re-used.
