This little golden Christmas tree was made in the 1950s and was expected to only last one season and now look how long it lasted! Stamped in gold metal (probably brass), the accents were painted on in red and green. The hand painting makes every pin a littel different, but that adds to the character. All are quite similar to the one pictured. This is new old stock and was never worn or used!
Wouldn't this be great on top of a holiday package as a little extra? We think so!
It measures 1-1/16 inch tall by not quite 3/4 inch wide at the widest. The pin on the back is soldered on - not glued - making it even more special. It is stamped HONG KONG on the back.
It is in great condition, especially considering it was meant only to be a novelty.
