Originally made for the clergy, this vintage pre-folded pocket square features a a hand-applied embroidered applique. The pastor of an old Lutheran Church wore one of these in his suit pocket when outside the parish.
The pocket square, slips into a breast pocket and the flap hangs out of the pocket. Made from linen and silky rayon, each features a satiny gold cross applique on the rounded flap. Some have a weight inside the flap to ensure that it stays in place once put in the pocket.
You might choose to use it in a different way - on clothing, in a special quilt, etc.
