Two Cairn Terrier Puppies are pictured on top of this sweet old toffee tin from England.

There is no toffee inside now. So, you can use it as a little treasure chest. How about adding some little sewing notions and create a fun little sewing kit. The lid fits snugly so that whatever is inside with be protected well.

Made in England by Edward Sharp & Sons Ltd., a confectionery company, from Maidstone, Kent.

The tin (and the toffee that was once inside) hails from the 1950s. It is obvious from the pictures, that the tin has been well used. 

We've tidied it up a bit - but not totally. We are always sure to keep our vintage and antique items in their found condition so as to not ruin the value.

One of the corners shows the remnants of scotch tape that we have not removed. The original paper label is intact, so you might want to remove it and wash the tin with light soap and water and dry thoroughly.
