The Dennison Company from Massachusetts is responsible for so many wonderful vintage items. This poker chip is made of colored pressed paper - each color representing value. This particular chip is red and features an inner concentric circle, and within that a four-leaf clover. These illustrations are created in pressed relief - when each chip is created.
These are standard chip size and hail from the early- to mid-20th century.
It would be pretty hard to play poker with only one chip, so we're suggesting that you use this for the base of a brooch or pendant or other collage or altered assembly.
