In the 1950s and 1960s, many Christmas decorations and ornaments were made of honeycomb paper. Although such ornaments are still made today, they just don't have the fascination as they did so long ago.
Our silly little red and white silly Santa has aged a bit through the years, but he still has that Christmas spirit build right in. His colors have faded slightly, but he is still in pretty good shape for such an old fellow, just like the man he represents.
The ornament is hand glittered around the base of his suit and on the brim of his cap. A little mercury glass bead is upon his coat, too. He has googly eyes and a holly berry for a nose. This funny St Nick measures 4 inches high by 2-1/8 inches wide.
Because of the decorative style, we believe that this was made in Japan. However of that we cannot be sure.
This is a vintage ornament that has been partially handmade, please allow for some variation.
