We were so fortunate to find this lovely carded medal from the mid-20th century. We love how particularly important it once was to make things more special and beautiful with an extra touch such as this little card.
A pale, pale pink, the card is accented with pink roses and blue violets and features an ornately styled charm or medal with the image of Saint Joseph and the baby Jesus on the front and a traditional image of a Guardian Angel with a little boy and girl on the reverse.
The front features an ornate frame with two lovely angels at the top, too. How lovely to have some many protectors on one medal. The highly detailed charm is perfect for your shrine or ofrenda and especially for a child's memory box.
The card reads on the front:
Extra Finish -- Burnished
We believe that indicates the extra patina rendered on the charm. The medal measures 1 inch high (not including the jump ring) and 1/2 inch wide.
