Created in a traditional primitive style, the hand cut and scored sterling silver arrow is the brace for your spirit animals (bead fetishes).
The spirits were hand carved of semi-precious stones hung by turquoise and heishi beads. The fox and bear surround another protector. However (shame on us), we
cannot decide whether it is a bird or a squirrel. There are 2 small silver spirit coyotes (the tricksters!). Because there are so many
interpretations for these animals, that we'll leave it to you to create
your own personal story.
The arrow is 2-1/4 inches long. With the hanging beads and heishi, it measures about 1-1/2 inch long.
The arrow is hallmarked on the back, "Sterling," but we were not able to find the artist's signature or stamp, which is probably there.
There is a resemblance to Native American Indian created jewelry. As it is from an estate, we were not able to determine the provenance. Because of this, we will will not declare it as so.This item is not Native American Indian produced, a Native American Indian product or the product of a particular Native American Indian, Native American Indian Tribe or Native American Indian Arts and Crafts Organization.
