For all those little (and big) boys and girls who can't wait to grow up to become firefighters, here are 8 wonderful stickers representing fire engines that were drawn by horses or pulled by men in the gallant age of firefighters. Heroes then as they are today, American firefighters not only battled the flames, but sometimes pulled the equipment, too.
These embossed American 19th Century Fire Engine stickers feature eight different engines. Each sticker features full color images of fire engines from 1820 through 1890 on a white background. Due to the intricacy of the individual engines, the stickers are cut in rectangles and not die cut in the shape of the apparatus. The pressure sensitive stickers are self-adhesive and the entire sheet measures 8 by 6 inches.
Printed in 1999, these are no longer available. The seller has closed the business.
