This strand of vintage dimpled glass beads comes in a striking robin's egg blue (no robins were harmed in the making of these beads).
The beads measure 8 mm each and there are 50 on each strand. Being hand made each bead has its own unique qualities, especially in the dimpling.
was a name used for glass beads created in Osaka, Japan during the US occupation after WWII (1945-1952). There was never an actual factory rather local citizens, many of whom were farmers, made these beads at their homes.
