Train toys were quite popular in days gone by. Hopefully they are still popular for collectors and assemblage artists.
Our vintage free-wheeling train engine (yes! the wheels really move!) is made of soft white plastic. And what detail! Cool stuff like this was just what you'd find in a dime store, 5 and 10 and even private Mom & Pop stores - usually for a nickle or dime.
This early 1960s locomotive is old store stock, never used and is in great condition. It measures about 3-1/2 inches from the pilot front (or cow catcher) to the back of the cab (where the engineer directs the train.)
Small parts warning - NOT FOR CHILDREN.
