This cool little tin was originally created to hold a sample of anti-pain medication. Considering that the samples were given away in the 1920s, it's in great condition. The outside bottom is rough, but it seems to have been meant to be that way - maybe so it wouldn't slip. The 1-1/4 inch diameter is about 5/16 inch deep including the lid.
The lid features a picture of the product's box and a jar of salve. Each of these is new old stock in unused condition from the original factory where the tins sat unused for many years.
