Unfinished Red Clay Moai Head Beads Set - Easter Island

These Moai beads are quite stunning. They are made of red clay (we are pretty sure that it is terracotta clay). The head beads are representative of the mysterious monolithic human figures on Easter Island.

We've combined 3 different head beads and 8 tubular spacer beads. The full set is packaged securely as shown in a reusable plastic box with protective paper filler.

Also available are packs of 15 of the tubular spacer beads - to use with your project, or, of course in another piece (perhaps a bracelet earrings?).

*** Set of 3 Second Quality face beads - stringing holes are defective. But, these can be used for assemblage or other artwork.

All the beads (heads & spacers) are hand formed, so please allow for the variability in the shape and color of the artisan's work. 

When the beads arrived, the head beads were not drilled well for stringing. We have made sure that the beads we send are able to be strung as a necklace or for any of your other designs. The stringing holes go side to side, so you will not be able to see the holes from the front.

We are also showing several beads so that you may see the slight variations in the hand formed beads.

If you choose to make these into jewelry, be sure to use a sealer before you wear the jewelry piece. These are raw clay and have not been finished. We suggest an acrylic spray rather than wax rub.
