Yeehaw! Just look what we found in our trove of treasures.

This set of 2 postcards come to us from the turn of the 20th century.

One of the two cards has not been used. It is a linen postcard featuring the poem, "Out Where the West Begins," by Arthur Chapman. This cards says, "Place One Cent Stamp Here," in the upper right corner.

The other postcard was used. It contains a short message stating that the sender will be home soon. It was postmarked in Los Angeles in 1906 and has a 1 cent Benjamin Franklin stamp on it. Though, time has not been kind to Ben as the lower left corner of the stamp has been torn off.

The second postcard features a cowboy losing his hat while riding a bucking bronco. The cowboy and horse have been wonderfully embossed. It is such a special card.
