100% mercerized marled cotton yarn from Brazil was sold by Classic Elite Yarns was a woman-owned business, known for their high quality and unique yarns were their specialties. Sadly, the company closed or reorganized in the 1990s.

The yarn is in great shape - complete skein - the labels show some wear, but are intact.

The design is called Shady Lane - an elegant 3-ply twist of black, teal and cream yarns.
