This authentic 1950s miniature roasted turkey was produced by Grandmother Stover’s, a legendary name in mid-century dollhouse miniatures famous for their clever, beautifully crafted, and highly realistic 1:12 scale household items.

Material & Craftsmanship
  • The Turkey: Molded from vintage composition material, featuring a wonderfully textured, granular surface that mimics a perfectly roasted bird. It is finished with a rich brown paint and a gleaming, high-gloss lacquer that gives it that classic, "glistening right out of the oven" look.
  • The Platter: The turkey sits on a flat, die-cut, gloss-coated heavy paperboard platter. The top of the paper platter is beautifully printed with a delicate blue and green floral border to resemble vintage fine china. The underside features a smooth, cream-colored paper backing that provides a perfectly stable base for display.
  • Condition: Very good vintage condition. The high-gloss finish on the turkey remains bright and intact without flaking. The delicate paper platter is nicely preserved with vibrant graphics, with no major staining or tearing—a rare find for paper-based miniatures of this era.
