Just look at these gorgeous icicles glimmering on our little tree!
The icicles are original from so many years ago - from the 1940s or earlier.
Made of real metal, this German tinsel will show a patina with time, rendering it even prettier! Original tinsel was always made of lead, as are the icicles in the package. Be careful not to ingest. Dangerous for children and pets.
Our little tree is decorated with three packages of icicles. They were originally intended to be dispersed lightly throughout the tree - one here - one there - not as close as we show them. When decorating with modern tinsel, most trees bear lots and lots of icicles. You'll need several packages if you choose to hang the icicles in a denser fashion.
You might also choose to break or cut the strands to use on a feather tree like so long ago.
The icicles are in the original paper envelope - protecting them from the air that will cause the patina. Once you open the envelope, icicles will begin to take on the patina tarnish that we love.
We have not removed the tinsel from the package. We want you to open it to its original shine.
The icicles are packaged original paper envelope - just like in the photos. The paper shows its age as expected.

Please take great care when separating the individual strands as these are vintage. They are quite thin and delicate and may tear. They will still be very nice on your tree - just like real icicles of all sizes.
They will be wonderful year after year if you take care when using and storing them.
