So, now that pigs fly, so many of our wishes, dreams, and ........... will come true. Go ask Alice, the Walrus, and just about anyone who may have a doubt or two (or three, or four.) Or, many a seemingly impossible dream.
This truly unique and certainly charming angel pig comes to us from an old lady's collection of angels. Mysterious, he is.
We can't even begin to chronicle the entirety of his being. But, we'll
continue to try.
Enigmatic is his countenance. Made of paper clay (maybe) and hand painted as distinguishedly as he deserves.
His hands are such as human and certainly pig feet! - oh, my! Sewn from fabric you'd suspect of any special doll as he. A halo, yes. And, oh dear, another wonder - a sturdy but soft, lustrous, and rare Elizabethan collar reveals his unusual and elegant character.
Golden accents on his sturdy paper wings announce his
reputation as a special angel after all. Delicate golden threads drape (can threads drape? we think they can!). A fine and special wire assists him in his flight.
We have been told that when the angel entered the old lady's life as a gift, her immediate the response was, "Oh my! What do I do with this?" He flew into her personal reading retreat and stayed. And she was never the same since. Thoughts and dreams and wondrous wonders awaited (invaded?) her quiet evenings with her book (or two or three). Poetry?
Her spirit accompanies the angel. Pig that he be.
