This silken pillowcase is a souvenir of a trip to the Panama Canal, probably in the 1940s. These pillow cases were special souvenirs because of their delightful graphics and that they were foldable for easy travel.

This one is in really nice condition. The images are printed in black and white on a  pale blue silky cover. The images and captioning are illustrative of the Canal Zone over the years. The back is made of a darker blue silky fabric.

The case has very slight folds and will be rolled in tissue (not folded).

You can slip your pillow from the back bottom. Please be careful. This is a very vintage item and was made as a simple souvenir and is not as sturdy as the pillow cases of today.
