This stunning vintage angel ornament is from a handmade mold and cast in wax. The ornament was created in the traditional style of long ago in the Bavarian Free State in southeast Germany.

We know this angel to have been created in the late 1980s or early 1990s. She tenderly plays the violin.

The stunning figure has been painted in metallic silver and then antiqued with oxidation. You'll see the brown of the wax peaking through as well creating a sense of the past.

A golden thread has been attached in the hot wax. It was hung with an very old steel hanger.

The ornament is packaged in a vintage German box from the 1940s.

You'll have a great addition to a year-round wall display. Or hang the angel on your holiday tree.

Be sure to keep this ornament away from heat as it is made of wax and is not fireproof.

You'll notice the reflections on the back, as well as what appear to be imperfections. They are evident of the true age and style of the molded piece.
