This March 1944 booklet was printed in 1944 by the Home Economics Institute of the Home Economics Institute of the Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co. of Mansfield, Ohio. The Health for Victory magazine was developed to help US citizens better plan economical meals during WWII.

You'll find interesting letters, essays, recipes and savings tips. Ideas for leftovers, managing ration stamps for the best value. Some of the recipes still sound wonderful.

There is an article about saving $10 a week on groceries. This is very surprising to us. $10 in 1994 is worth about $177 in 2024. The 15¢ for this booklet would be about $2.64 in 2024. Go figure!

Great for the collector, or just for interest's sake, this a fine read. It is in pretty good condition for its age and use. There are 3 hole-punches for adding to a library binder of sorts (we're guessing). The paper cover has a stapled binding.
