Can you imagine making such a tapestry as this? So gorgeous. Called Eve's Temptation, this tapestry was originally from the Netherlands and is now found in Florence, Italy in the Galleria dell'Accademia.
We do question why it is Eve's temptation and not Adam's, but then again, we didn't make the tapestry. This is a vintage-style postcard - even the back of it looks old-fashioned. There is so much to see in the image, we're sure you'll look for quite some time. A fascinating element is the brightly colored parrot in the left foreground. Most of the tapestry has been completed in earth tones of greens and browns. But, the parrot is full of reds and blues. Why?
