These enchanting sequins are unused old store stock from the 1920s and 1930s. These are shiny translucent taupe sequins that measure 1/4 inch in diameter. The stringing hole is in the center of the sequin.
We bought a large grouping of sequins some time ago and these were loose from the strands. They are perfect for embellishing all kinds of things.
Warning: In bunches, these have an unpleasant scent. Early plastics, such as the celluloid in these sequins often contained formaldehyde and other unpleasant additives. Once separated and in open air, the scent dissipates and the sequins are in fine condition for use.
