These charms were originally designed for the costume jewelry trade. They were meant to be set with paste stones or rhinestones and enameled or painted. They hail from the mid-20th century. They show varying degrees of patination as you can see from our photograph of 3 of the charms.
Each charm measures 5/8 inch in diameter and the hanging loop makes the charm 3/4 inch long. The indentations are meant to be settings, but they look fine just the way they are. We have not cleaned or patinaed the charms any further, so please let us choose one randomly for you.
