We have had many discussions about this lovely vintage embroidered ribbon. We're just not sure if the embroidered letters are
M.P. or
W.P. So, we'll just let you decide! Of course,
M.P. might be the abbreviated form of
Military Police. And
W.P. may stand for
Well Played.
The letters
on our vintage German embroidered ribbon tape were meant to be
abbreviations or a monogram of some sort - each letter bearing a period
(.) after it; but we just couldn't resist the two characters together. We
think they'd be so special as an embellishment. The 1/2 inch wide
ribbon measures 1 inch long for each repeat of:
M.P.
(or W.P. ?)
You Decide
We
believe this vintage ribbon to be rayon, but we are not sure of the
content. The red script letters have been embroidered by machine and
there is a period (.) after each letter.
We're showing several repeats so that you might see how the ribbon will be cut.
The ribbon will be cut
to order for you. So if you order more than one repeat, it will be all
in one piece. Cut to order items are not returnable.
