Our Lady of La Vang Medal

During a time of persecution of Catholics in Vietnam, a vision of the Blessed Virgin came to those hiding in the forest of La Vang. Appearing in a tree, she was wearing a traditional Vietnamese áo dài dress and holding a child in her arms. The vision told them to boil leaves from the trees to create a medicine to cure the ill among them.

The front of our medal has an elegant image of Our Lady of La Vang.
