Created by the Lord Nelson Pottery, which opened its doors in 1880. The figures on the bottom represent the style and image; not the date. The golden rimmed and warm white base of the trinket dish features the purple violet, the floral emblem of the province.

There is some expected aging along the golden rim - barely noticeable. The tiny "imperfections" on the slip appear to be original - before the piece was sold.

The dish curves slightly upward - so your little treasures will be safer.

It measures 4-1/8 inches wide by 4-1/4 inches high. From the base to the gold rim, the measure is about 1/2 inch.
