Created from a traditional holy card, this colorful postcard highlights so many different images, it is almost impossible to interpret them all. There are angels and cherubs, lost souls in the flames of purgatory as well as the Anima Sola. There also appear to be tiny souls in Limbo, but we cannot be sure of that.
The card reads:
Sangre de Cristo, Salvados
(Blood of Christ, Save Us)
In the palest of letters in the arch above Christ's head, it reads:
redempti estis pretioso sanguine agni immaculati christi
(the blood of the immaculate christ is recognized as the price of redemption)
We're quite sure that this will make a great background for a shrine or other religious art work.
