This wonderful heavy-weight red Dresden base is just what you need to create old-fashioned paper ornaments for Valentine's Day, Christmas or any other occasion. Add a little scrap picture with a dab of glue to the center (or even a Victorian-style sticker), maybe a few pieces of angel hair or krausbouillion and you'll create a brand new heirloom!
The base of the ornament measures about 3-1/4 inches in diameter (from one point to the opposite). The loop on top is for hanging and adds about 1/4 inch more. This striking Dresden is metallic red on one side and white paper on the other side. (We're showing you two ornaments so that you might see the front and back.)
The embossing on these reliefs is superb. These are made in the same fashion as they have been for many, many decades! Some trimming is necessary, just as it was for the originals.
