This sweet little alpine cabin pin also has a little loop at the bottom from which you might hang a little charm or bead if you please. The little plastic charm has been hand-painted by master artisans and features little trees on either side of the little house.
If you are careful, you can probably remove the pin from the back if you choose.
These were made in the 1970s by hand in an old-fashioned artisan-run factory that closed in the early 1990s.
The pin measures 7/8 inch wide by 3/4 inch high (including the little loop at the bottom). It is 3/8 inch from front to back (not including the pin on the back).
