Vintage Mexican Button

We're not sure if these buttons are made of brass or bronze or nickel, but we are sure that they all have an older patina (some have been repaired) and would be great for altered books or other assemblages and collages. They are in different sizes and shapes, but all are authentic vintage Mexican coins that have been handmade into buttons!

On the front it reads: Estados Unidos Mexicanos.
