Before there were electronic memorization tools and scheduling systems, the station managers and clerks along the railways had to memorize stations, schedules and stops just to do their jobs.
These cards list trains, stations and stops and were created for the novice to learn the ropes. Some even have notes jotted in pencil on either side. Although we don't recognize most of the place names, we believe them to be in Pennsylvania.
The cards are roughly the size of business cards: 3-1/8 inches by 1-11/16 inch.
Each of the packets of 3 cards will be different. Illustration shows a representative sample of the cards in the packages. No two packages are alike.
