Created from raw brass, these vintage settings were hand made. These old stock pieces were originally intended for costume jewelry. Some of them were eventually plated, but these are the base pieces and they have developed a fantastic patina that only age brings to bear. Chemical aging cannot hold a candle to the real thing! These are great for shallow resin castings; or, you might choose to add your artwork or photo and then add a piece of acrylic or glass and then tighten the edges.
We're showing several of these so that you might see the fronts and backs of several of them. They are all the same size. The edges are straight but you can bend them in with strong pliers.
Each measures 13/16 inch or 20mm in diameter and 1/16 inch or about 2mm in profile.
